Academisation

We have been undertaking work with the Chester Diocese around the formation of a new multi-academy trust. This multi-academy trust (Chester Diocese Learning Trust) will be based in Cheshire West and Chester, offering many opportunities for schools to collaborate and drive improvements to school systems. Being part of the conversations as the trust is being developed, has given school the opportunity to have its voice heard more easily as a small school and be instrumental in the vision and ethos of the trust. One of our key reasons for embarking on this opportunity with the diocese was that they know our school and recognise its unique and distinctive nature alongside the individual characteristics of their other schools in the diocese.

As you know we work closely and openly with our school community; building trusting relationships that are a strength of our school community. Multi-academy trusts are families of schools which work together to support and challenge each other, striving to secure strength in all schools within the family. This new multi-academy trust will be a family of strong schools working together to benefit all members of the trust community.
