We are gradually developing our website to provide you with further information and to allow the children to use it as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
During the year we hope that every child will be given log in details in order to access pages which are not accessible to the general public. These details will also allow parents to log in to access these pages too. The children will be able to create their own homepage which they can update with a profile and important information about their school and home life. This information will only be accessible to children and staff within school. They will also be encouraged to contribute to class work on the school website as part of their homework.
Currently on the 'Parent Information' pages you will see that you can now download school proformas such as 'Medicine Administration' and 'Holiday Consent' forms instead of having to come in to school to get them. It is our intention that in the future all of the letters that go out to parents will appear on these pages and you will be able to view the latest School Newsletter here also.
If you have any comments about the site or would like to make a suggestion about other information that you would find helpful, please let us know as we aim to continually develop this site and want to work with you to build a useful tool for all.
If, as a parent of a child on roll at our school, you would like a paper copy of any of our website information, please enquire with Mrs Auld in the office and they will be provided free of charge.
