Pilgrim Day

Class: Class 4 Year: 2014 - 2015

Today, 14th October 2014, Class 4 visited Chester Cathedral for a Pilgrim Day.

We were split into small groups and enjoyed a wide range of different activities. These included:

Hand bell ringing
Sugar craft monks
Stories in stone
Mosaic tiles
Singing in the choir
Stained glass windows
Concertina books

We then enjoyed a tour of the cathedral and heard the marvellous organ being played - the acoustics were amazing! We dressed up as monks and went into the dining room to 'enjoy' bread and water - observing a vow of silence was quite difficult for some of us to achieve!!
